Adrienne Bononi
Adrienne Bononi is the Education Technology Coordinator at Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena, CA. Her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Communication is from the University of Oregon (go ducks). Adrienne has a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology Leadership from California State University, Los Angeles. After leaving a career in advertising, Adrienne followed her roots to join the world of education. Adrienne started her career in education as a fifth grade teacher at Palisades Elementary Charter School, a LAUSD charter school. Since her inception at Palisades Elementary, Adrienne became involved with technology in education, chairing the Technology Committee and bringing about an Apple laptop program. Now in her third year at Mayfield Junior School, Adrienne is responsible for the K-8 academic technology infrastructure including faculty professional development and a 1:1 iPad program. When not educating herself or others, Adrienne enjoys spending her time traveling, exploring fashion and cultures, cooking (and eating). She also collects wrapping paper.
Larry Guyer
Larry Guyer is the Director of Technology at Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena, California. Larry is responsible for managing and maintaining all technology on campus from network infrastructure and databases to hardware fleet management and software training. He works closely with the administration to ensure Mayfield’s technology resources effectively support program needs. In addition to his many responsibilities at Mayfield, Larry is co-owner of MonkeyWorks, Inc, an IT consulting company and has done web design for companies such as MTV and Universal Studios. If he isn’t busy enough, Larry and his wife, Tatiana (Mayfield’s librarian) have five children.
